At the Aathma Ayurveda Health Resort, a classic Panchakarma cleansing therapy awaits you. To achieve the best possible results, a minimum stay of 2 weeks is recommended. Intimate Ayurveda resort with a beautiful, spacious garden only a short distance from the beach. The name "Aathma" is Sanskrit for "soul" and " the true self" and thus clarifies the importance of the inner self in the course of an Ayurveda cure.

The small, intimate Aathma Ayurveda Health Resort captivates with its quiet coastal location and its authentic Ayurveda Panchakarma. Within a 2-minute walk from the beautiful sandy beach, the bungalow resort is nestled in a well-kept garden of about 7,000 square meters. The architecture of the individual buildings is stylish and structured, the surrounding vegetation radiates tranquility and serenity. 

In summer (from 15.6.-10.8.) the Aathma invites spa guests with children. Child care is available for approx. EUR 10 per day. Spread over 5 bungalows, the a total of 22 rooms (approx. 40 sqm) on 2 floors offer enough space and a highly homely atmosphere. From the balcony or terrace, you have a view of the pool and the lush greenery of the garden. The rooms are equipped with shower/WC, fan, telephone, safe, hairdryer, bathrobe, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Slightly apart, there is a 2-story family bungalow with a view of the garden (up to 6 people, on request).
The open restaurant serves tasty Ayurvedic meals according to the recommendation of the Ayurvedic doctor and adjusted to the individual dosha type. The meals are served as a menu. In order to make the diet fit in the everyday life, the guests are also given recommendations on suitable ingredients, spices and forms of preparation.
In the southwest of Sri Lanka, approx. 15 km south of Bentota lies the small town of Balapitiya, which is known in particular for its palm-fringed, fine-sand beach, which is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka.

In the beautifully landscaped garden, outdoor pool, sun loungers and parasols provide a soothing deceleration. Cosmetic and beauty treatments can be booked on site. The palm-fringed, fine-sand beach is wonderful for walks, e.g. at sunset, and for swimming, depending on the weather. Bicycle rental, laundry service on request.

In the friendly Ayurveda center with 10 treatment rooms you will be competently cared for by a qualified Ayurveda doctor (24h in the house) and therapist team. After a detailed initial diagnosis - here a German-speaking translator is available on request - you will enjoy at least 4 Ayurveda treatments daily - relaxing, cleansing and soothing. Some of the treatments are also available outdoors, e.g. head and foot massages or the final flower bath. According to Ayurvedic teachings, yoga and meditation support the success of your Ayurveda retreat. Yoga and meditation sessions take place on the covered roof terrace. Beauty treatments can be added on site.
